another tshirt relief print with stitching

(the wood block)

Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.
Carl Jung

relief prints on cotton + some needlework!

so i decided to print some of my blocks on some old t shirts and add some stitching to them.
usually when i make a linocut or a woodcut, it is the block that seems to be the real masterpiece, since i've put more time into carving it, and the prints end up being secondary in my heart of hearts. stitching detail and color into my prints helped me to appreciate each one a lot more, and the action of stitching is very relaxing and meditative to me. i stretched and stapled the fabric over some old picture frames i found at the thift store, and then added a little extra color with gauche.

that seems a little sketchbook
